- For sterling silver, regular polishing with a non-abrasive silver polishing cloth will keep your pieces shiny. - When you are not wearing your jewelry, store it in a cool, dry place. Air causes tarnishing over time. If you store your pieces in a ziplock bag or air tight jewelry box, it will slow down this process.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, detergents and commercial jewelry cleaners "dips" especially if the pieces have an oxidized finish. Using harsh polishing cleaners will alter the antique look of your jewelry.
- It is best if you do not wear your jewelry to bed, swimming or while doing housework.
